Terms and Conditions for TheClub@Rodmersham
1. Membership Eligibility
1.1. Membership is available to individuals juniors aged 5+ years old
1.2. All members are required to complete and submit the membership application online form with accurate information.
1.3. The gym reserves the right to refuse membership or terminate it if the information provided is inaccurate or misleading.
2. Membership Fees and Payments
2.1. Membership fees are payable monthly or annually as per the membership agreement selected.
2.2. Payments can be made by direct debit, card or cash (Flexi) payment methods. (Flexi incurs a higher fee)
2.3. The gym reserves the right to adjust membership fees with 1 month's notice to the members.
2.4. Failure to pay membership fees may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3. Membership Cancellation and Freeze Policy
3.1. Members may cancel their membership by providing 7 days' notice.
3.2. No refunds will be provided for unused membership periods.
3.3. Membership freezes are available for a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months per calendar year. Fees may apply for freezing memberships.
4. Gym Usage and Conduct
4.1. Members are required to follow all gym rules, staff instructions, and posted regulations regarding the use of equipment and facilities.
4.2. Proper gym attire, including clean workout clothes and appropriate footwear, must be worn at all times.
4.3. Members are expected to maintain good hygiene and wipe down equipment after use.
4.4. Misconduct, including abusive language, harassment, or improper behavior towards other members or staff, will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership.
4.5. Any damage to the gym property caused by a member due to negligence or improper use will be the responsibility of the member and may incur repair or replacement costs.
5. Health and Safety
5.1. Members should complete a gym induction before using the gym, as required by the gym. You can Complete a gym induction Waiver should you feel you do not need a gym induction
5.2. Members are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable physical condition before engaging in any exercise or gym activity.
5.3. If a member has any pre-existing medical condition, they must inform gym staff prior to using the facilities on the PAR Q.
5.4. The gym is not liable for any injuries sustained while using the facilities unless due to proven negligence by the gym or its staff.
5.5. In the event of an emergency, members are required to follow staff instructions and use the designated emergency exits.
6. Personal Belongings and Locker Use
6.1. Members are responsible for their own personal belongings. The gym will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
7. Equipment Usage
7.1. Members must use gym equipment safely and as intended. If unsure of proper use, members should ask a gym staff member for assistance.
7.2. Misuse of gym equipment can result in suspension of gym privileges.
7.3. Members are required to return weights and other portable equipment to their designated areas after use.
8. Classes and Personal Training
8.1. Group classes and personal training sessions are available based on the class or trainer’s schedule.
8.2. Booking is required for participation in classes or personal training, and late cancellations or no-shows may incur fees.
8.3. The gym reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes without prior notice due to low attendance or other unforeseen circumstances.
9. Guest Policy
9.1. Members may bring guests to the gym with prior approval from the gym staff.
9.2. Guests must adhere to the same rules and regulations as members. The member is responsible for their guest's behavior during the visit.
9.3. Guest passes may be available for purchase, subject to the gym’s guest policy.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1. The gym is committed to protecting members' personal information and will use it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10.2. Members’ information will only be used for gym-related purposes, such as communication, billing, and internal marketing, unless otherwise agreed.
10.3. Members have the right to access and correct their personal information at any time by contacting the gym.
11. Liability Waiver
11.1. Members agree that participation in any physical activity or use of gym facilities is done at their own risk.
11.2. The gym and its staff are not liable for any personal injury, illness, or death arising from a member’s use of the facilities unless due to proven negligence.
11.3. Members waive any claims against the gym for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property brought into the gym premises.
12. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
12.1. The gym reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes with at least 7 days' notice.
12.2. Continued use of the gym facilities after changes to the Terms and Conditions implies acceptance of the new terms.
